Evaluation Services & Limitations
The Center provides educational, psychological, academic, behavioral, and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and families. These evaluations are intended to support educational planning, accommodations, and understanding of learning needs, but they do not replace medical diagnoses or treatment provided by licensed healthcare providers. Recommendations in reports are based on professional judgment, standardized testing, and client-provided information; the accuracy of results depends on the completeness and honesty of that information. The Center is not responsible for decisions made by schools, districts, or third parties based on evaluation results.
SMS Terms of Service
By opting into SMS messages through a web form, scheduling system, or other medium, you agree to receive text messages from Growing Minds Evaluation Center. These may include appointment reminders, scheduling updates, service notifications, evaluation updates, account messages, and customer support responses. Messaging frequency may vary. Privacy & Confidentiality
All client information is protected under FERPA and applicable state confidentiality laws. The Center follows strict policies regarding the collection, storage, and use of personal data. Information will not be shared with schools, agencies, or other third parties without written consent, except when required by law, such as concerns for safety or court-ordered disclosures. Digital communication (email, SMS, web forms) may not be fully secure; by using these methods, clients acknowledge and accept these risks.
Payments, Cancellations & Liability
Fees for evaluations, consultations, and related services must be paid as outlined in the Center's pricing and invoicing policies. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may result in a late-cancellation fee. The Center is not liable for delays, interruptions, or outcomes beyond its control, including school decisions, insurance denials, or technology issues. By engaging in services, clients agree to hold the Center and its evaluators harmless from any claims arising from the use of evaluation results or recommendations.
